Iran, specifically their current regime poses a problem for a good portion of the world.  Led by mullahs bent on obtaining nuclear weapons and with a means to control their population for the most part in the form of "Islamism".  We know the story.  I think it is catching a virus though.  It is called "AIDS" Acquired Islamist Deficiency Syndrome.  So what is this second form of AIDS?  It is the fact that despite the restrictions and roadblocks the Iranian government throws up to suppress their population the youth continue to gain contact with the outside world and see things for what they are.  So what about these curves?  As the mullahs age, they will begin to weaken, they are still some distance from nuclear weapons so we are told, but the youth are on the rise and will tire of living backwards suppressed lives eventually.  As the youth rise the mullahs will eventually fall.  Hopefully time is on our side and peacefully things transition such that Persians will again be free members of the world, no longer threatening and unduly influencing their neighbors.  Time is on our side if only the nuke problem can be delayed for the other curves to meet.
